Several elementary schools identified by Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) were invited to participate. Interested parents were required to submit a survey and make appointments for their child at any one of three Heritage Optical retail locations. This initiative was funded by a grant from Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency.
